Our role in the Committee of Italian Entrepreneurs in Ukraine
The Committee of Italian Entrepreneurs in Ukraine was established in 2012 with the aim of promoting interaction between the business community and Italian local institutions and encourage the exchange of information, experience and expertise among entrepreneurs operating in Ukraine. The Committee is also open to representatives of the leading Ukrainian business groups that have concrete interests and business relations with Italy.
The Committee is chaired by the Ambassador of Italy in Ukraine and is made up of the representatives of large and medium-sized businesses, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, the Association of Italy-Ukraine and several Italian Legal entrepreneurs working in the country.
Tecnocap Group joined the Executive Board of the Committee through its subsidiary in Ukraine, together with representatives of companies such as Fiat Industrial, Danieli, Unicredit, Indesit, Mapei, Saipem, Maschio Gaspardo, Inblu and Uss Security.
The Board of Directors frequently meets to take stock of the political and economic situation and the prospects for current and future business. In particular the Directors have an increasingly important role, as an economic diplomacy organ in support of Italian commercial presence in Ukraine, which promotes and enhances the Italian industrial excellence with Ukrainian institutions and the provides of the funds (in particular the EBRD, EIB and WB ).
Recent meetings with Natalia Jaresko, Minister of Finance and with Algirdas Šemeta, Business Ombudsman for Ukraine have strengthened the role of the Governing Council, body able to contribute to the improvement of the economic environment and business in Ukraine. It represents a success story in the cooperation between institutions and operators committed in the economic development and the resolution of the crisis.
