On February 11, 2023, Tecnocap Group celebrated an important achievement: 15 years of activity in the United States. The American plant, in fact was established in 2007 in West Virginia, after the acquisition of Penn Wheeling Closure LLC, a well-known company in the metal packaging industry with 120 years of history.

The President of the American plant, Paolo Ghigo, wanted to celebrate this important milestone with an Italian-style event “A night at the Italian opera”.

The night started with a concert of the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra at the Capitol Theatre, a sumptuous theatre by the river, in the historic center of Wheeling.

The opera, directed by the Master of the symphony John Devlin, saw on the stage important names, such as Bridgette Gan, the mezzo-soprano Corrie Stallings, the tenor Edoardo Washington II and the baritone Scott Johnson.

The event was hosted by all the people who have been committed to the development of the American plant of Tecnocap: employees, managers, clients, suppliers, and also important institutional figures of West Virginia. Michelangelo Morlicchio, CEO of Tecnocap Group, was present at the event together with a representative delegation from the headquarters.
